Very true. One thing that is bugging me, didn't you use to be able to read some of the old newspaper stories on charliemanson.com? Or am I just blind and cant find them anymore? I don't know where I used to read them, if not on that site...

btw the 3d model on charliemanson.com is awesome. I'd love to see one from spahn ranch too, but that might be a bit of a pain to build.

Thanks for the nice words on the 3D model! I'm also working on one of the LaBianca house but not all of the floor plan is known. And I have a pretty decent model of Barker Ranch, too. I've been given some info on Spahn but haven't touched it yet.

I didn't model the cars myself. I just downloaded them elsewhere and they aren't quite the correct vehicles, but close enough for now. For those obsessed with tiny details, notice the blue lighting near the cars in the night "photo." According to the floor plan shown in "Helter Skelter" there was a blue light there.

Yeah, I love the whole idea. I've spent so much time reading all those books, imagining every step of how everything went down, that it's wonderful to be able to walk in there and see somewhat authentic view of the place. I also like the idea of having people inside, and it would be great to build 3d models of the actual people. Well, one thing at a time, right. I think this is a great idea and a very cool project that can be improved and details added over time.
