He ain't getting out. Never. Probably involved in other murders as well. Because of the timing of his surrender to the law he very well could ne the killer of Ronald Hughes. I would have no problem believing Hughes drowned in a flash flood were it not for the fact that Charlie and the Family were threatening to kill everyone in the trial from the judge to the attorneys to members of their own ilk who testified against them. They were caught trying to kill Batbara Hoyt. Juan Flynn was so scared heasked to be held in a jail cell after he turned states evidence.

yeah i thought if he didn't get out this time he's not getting out. i am surprised though that the jury voted 9-0 considering he'd been granted an appeal.
he may very well be guilty of other murders but maybe not Ronald Hughes, although you cant count it out. the people over at TateLaBianca Blog dont even think he was murdered and they seem to have a hatred for anyone who's even so much as looked to charlie, lol.
If Bruce is gonna spend the rest of his life in jail at least he's been living the last half of his life in a more positive way than he lived the first half.

I saw that. The Colonel doesn't explain why he discounts all the murder threats to all the different people. I reread Helter Skelter just recently and was amazed at the volume of threats. I don't think those were idle threats. Hughes was killed to scare other attys who weren't doing as Charlie wanted. Leslie wanted to defend herself at one point and then her atty shows up missing. Yes there is logical evidence that Hughes drowned in a flood but the timing is ominously bad. If you remove all the treats I would not suspect the Family as Hughe's killer. However there were dozens of threats and several attempts. It is unlikely that none of the threats materialized.
