My wife would be very surprised if that announcement was true! Well heck, I would be too!!
I think everybody who has an interest in the Manson case will be highly interested.

So what happens next? Will there be digging?
It's a pretty wild idea that the case could be re-opened if the bodies were family victims. It would be next to impossible to prove who did it though. I wonder if Clem gets nervous when he hears about this... I wonder what happened to him anyway. Other than the phone "interview" and something about him painting houses, I haven't heard a thing since he was released. (Was that phone conversation with Paul Watkins btw?)

The call was somebody imitating Watkins.
I've heard from a couple of sources that Clem attended some musical academy.
Hopefully there will be enough interest to do more at Barker. Maybe a TV production could fund an exploration. Maybe a volunteer expert crew could do the digging. Any suggestions?

steve grogan was a student at Musicians Institute in the mid-late 80s. i spoke to a guy who attended with him and he said he was a great guy, completely rehabilitated. he worked for a while as a session musician and was in a band in the 90s called the Midnight Runners Institute. i couldnt find any info on them tho

I read somewhere that Manson's son was a drummer in a LA based band.
Anyone know if there is any truth to this?

Thanks for adding me to the board.
Since the death penalty has been reinstated in California, and since they believe Manson and Tex are responsible for at least two missing people, why don't they approach them with immunity to give up the bodies, if they were in fact murdered?
The first one to give them up gets ammunity and the other, be it Tex or Manson gets the death penalty. If neither give up a body and and bodies are found, both of them get executed.
I realize it takes years to execute someone but I'm sure there are ways to see that they jump the queue.
